♡~Should I trust him~♡

"I want him in my basement Tomorrow, today I have some important work to sort out."

"You're driving me crazy Sweetheart, and remember you're all mine and if anyone tries even to come near you they're welcomed to my basement and to hell."

———————————————————

A D H R I T H' S POV:

Location: My basement

Time: 3:30AM

Mood: of taking a fucking life

I entered the dark room with a dim light begging for his breath, my two men are standing with the guy who is sitting on the chair, hand tied, a white cloth into his mouth, feeling like he wants to convince us to leave him, didn't he?

"Sir here he's" one of my men said, guided his hand in his way.

"I see" I said while taking big steps toward him.

"Why the hell I'm here!?" He shouted.

"Lower your voice Mr.Rajveer Rathore or you'll regret infront of whom you're raising your voice" I said and choked his neck with my burning hand and I could feel his harsh coughing and fighting to get some oxygen.

"Answer me whatever I will ask you okay?" I ordered him and he nodded in agreement.

"Why did you force her in this marriage!?"

"None of your business Mr. Adhrit"

*SLAP*!!!!!!!

"Answer what I asked you whether It belongs to my business or not"

"Because I'm falling for her, like she's so beautiful, and her eye-"

THUD!!!!!

I landed a harsh punch on his jawline feeling his blood on my hands.

"But why are you doing this? Who is she to you?"

"She's the Queen of my whole empire which I had built for her, she's my world which I don't want to leave, she's my goddess, my parvati."

"And why you touch her hand?!"

"It was just an accident" he said trying to convince me.

I went back a little and approached one of my men standing here watching everything.

"I want his hands in my refrigerator" I ordered him and he nodded on my words and I feel someone's widened eyes on me but it's too late for him now his destiny is planned by me.

"No don't do this please!!! Leave me I have a family, I won't take up my eyes on her, she's yours please leave me"

"She's already mine Mr. Rathore you were just a pebble in our path now it's even cleared."

"I wish that day you won't come to her home "

"Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!"

*Satisfaction filled my heart*

A U T H O R

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden hue over Mumbai, Isha stood on her balcony, the cool evening breeze brushing against her skin. Her heart raced as she replayed the day's events in her mind. The weight of her father's words about the impending marriage felt like an anchor dragging her down into an ocean of despair. She longed to break free, to declare her independence, but the fear of disappointing her family loomed over her like a dark cloud.

Suddenly her phone rang with the melody of her phone's soft ringtone, it's kritika, her elder sister.

Isha : hello!

Kritika: hello madam or kya ho raha hai Ghar me kuch dino se?

Isha: di kuch bhi to nahi aap btao kaisa chal rha hai kam aapka?

(She lied so smoothly right?)

Kritika: Jhut mat bol Ishu mujhe sab pata chal gaya hai,or tere sath itna kuch ho rha hai or tune mujhe bataya bhi nahi?

Isha: Di sorry na

Kritika: It's okay and I want to tell you that the guy papa chose for you is now in ICU fighting for his life with his right hand cut.

Isha: What? How tf is possible and who cut his hand any why? As I know he's a good man.

Kritika: Yup he's a good man that's why he's forcing a girl into a marriage. Okay now don't think about this too much and now you have many reasons, deny this marriage Ishu, got it?

Isha: yes di thank you.

On the other hand Adhrit, thinking about last night, satisfaction filled his heart like doing this –he got his path to her destiny cleared.

The fresh air of the morning filled his room a little ray of sunshine appears on his face as he rubbed is eyes and got up from the bed and made his way to the washroom ready to make this day memorable for his entire life.

After some 15 minutes the door of the washroom swung open revealing his biceps and his chest with only a piece of towel tied on is waist.

He got into a black shirt with black pants with a belt securing his attire, messy hair, ready to approach his sweetheart. Yes! today he's going to meet her, Isha.

He went downstairs and saw everyone already gathered here he sat beside Shaurya and started having his breakfast.

“Adhi bhai ko bhi ab shaadi kar hi leni chahiye” Shaurya said making everyone look at him while laughing.

“Ye or shadi, humen nahin lagta mujhe meri pota- bahu ka shukh milega is zindagi me” his dadi said dramatically making Adhrit think about her.

“Dadi kar lunga na shadi abhi to bohat time hain.”

“Abhi bohat time hai karte karte adha buddha ho gya hai tu” Rajveer, his uncle said makes everyone laugh.

“Kyu sab mere bacche ke peeche pade ho, or tu Shaurya ke bacche bohat jaban chalne lagi hai teri bade bhai ke saamne” his choti maa, naina said pulling Shaurya 's ears.

“Ek choti maa hi to mujhe samajhti hai baaki sb to sb pareshan karte rehte hai mujhe” he said while looking at Naina with his puppy eyes and the room filled with laughter. Everyone had their separate meal and headed towards their respective works.

(Specially Adhrit)

Now He's sitting in his hospital's cabin tapping his legs on the ground finding the way to text her and fix his very first meeting with her.

Got pulled out of his thoughts Karan entered his cabin and sat on the chair infront of him. “Bata kyu bulaya mujhe”

“I want to meet her, today only”

“Tu wo Mumbai ki street wali ladki ko bhula nahi abhi tak? Bro forget her she was just another girl whom you meet accidentally on the street she's nothin-”

THUD!

“Now keep you fucking mouth shut and hear me properly.”

“Haan yahi karne to aaya hun main US se India.” he murmured to himself.

"Karan! We need to do something. Isha can't marry any other guy," he exclaimed, his voice laced with urgency.

"Kya hua, Adhrit? Calm down. Tell me everything," Karan replied, sensing the intensity in his friend’s tone.

Adhrit explained the situation, his heart racing as he spoke. “I need to go back to Mumbai. I can’t let her go through with this. She deserves to chase her dreams, not be forced into any marriage she doesn’t want.”

“Are you sure about this? What if you make things worse?” Karan asked, concerned.

“I don't care. I can't just stand by and watch,” Adhrit responded firmly, determination igniting within him.

As he packed his bag, Adhrit recalled his last encounter with Isha at the temple. Her vulnerability had touched him deeply, and he felt a protective instinct rising within. He was ready to fight for her happiness.

Landed at Mumbai Adhrit and Karan made their way to the hotel they booked for themselves and The first thing he did was texting Isha and convinced her to meet him at the same temple he saw her last time.

"Hi Isha, it’s Adhrit. I know you’re going through a tough time. I need to talk to you please."

Her breath hitched. Adhrit? A flicker of hope ignited within her, battling against the despair that had settled in her chest. She quickly typed a response, her fingers flying over the screen.

'Adhrith!'

“Who's this man? And how does he know about her situations?” questions lingering in her mind.

"Who are you and what do you want from me?" She texted back.

“Just trust me. Meet me at the Shiv temple at 6 PM. Please,” another message popped up.

As the clock ticked closer to 6 PM, Isha’s anxiety turned into a mixture of dread and anticipation. She slipped on her favorite kurta, hoping to feel a sense of comfort in the familiar fabric. When she arrived at the temple, the sun was beginning to set, casting a warm glow over the sacred space. She spotted Adhrit standing near the entrance, looking dapper in a casual shirt and jeans, his expression a mixture of concern and determination.

“Isha,” he said, his voice soft yet firm as she approached. “I’m glad you came.”

“What do you want from me, Adhrit?” she asked, her heart racing. “You don’t understand my situation.”

“I understand more than you think,” he replied, stepping closer. “I know you don’t want marriage and love in your life. You deserve to pursue your dreams, to dance without fear. I just want to help you.”

“I can’t just walk away from my family, Adhrit. They have expectations,” she whispered, her voice laced with uncertainty.

“Then let’s find a way together. You’re not alone in this,” he urged, taking her hand gently. “I promise I’ll support you.”

Torn between the safety of her family’s expectations and the allure of following her passion, Isha felt the weight of the world pressing down on her. As she looked into Adhrit’s eyes, something inside her shifted. Could she really trust him? Could she dare to dream of a life beyond what had been laid out for her?

Suddenly, a loud commotion erupted from the temple, pulling their attention away. A group of people rushed in, panic etched on their faces, shouting about a missing child. Isha and Adhrit exchanged worried glances, their conversation abruptly interrupted.

“Stay here,” Adhrit instructed, his protective instincts kicking in as he moved toward the crowd. Isha felt a pang of anxiety as he disappeared into the chaos, leaving her standing alone, her heart pounding not just from the uncertainty of her future but now from the unexpected panic unfolding around her.

As Isha watched the scene unravel, she realized that her life was spiraling into chaos, just like the pandemonium around her. With each passing moment, the stakes grew higher. She needed to make a decision—not just about the marriage, but about who she wanted to be.

"Should I trust him?"
